A rising crisis
Why Biznistry?
Across the U.S., the church is facing a funding crisis. Research shows that religious giving has declined by over 70% and the vast majority of support now comes from the Boomer generation and older. If trends continue, it's estimated that 30% of U.S. churches could close in the next 20 years. This reality deeply concerns us. We don't believe God wants fewer churches in America. We believe He wants more.
At Resurrection Church, we've been seeking a long-term solution - not just for our church, but as a model for others. In 2020, Pastor Bubba began a multi-year journey of studying Scripture, learning M&A, doing acquisition entrepreneurship, and praying through a vision we now call biznistry.

What is Biznistry?
Biznistry is the integration of business and ministry-creating sustainable revenue while advancing the Gospel. We believe that business can be both profitable and prophetic. So we've built a model that:
- Funds ministry through church-owned businesses
- Disciples entrepreneurs and business professionals
- Serves communities through ethical, redemptive enterprise
In 2025, we invested in our first biznistry: an e-commerce store. This store already supports our ministry and will help us build a model to help other churches.
